Tom is the Principal of ICOM. After graduating from the college in 2007 with a first class honours degree he joined the faculty in 2008 and has been teaching at ICOM ever since. He served as Director of Studies from 2019-2023. Tom runs a busy multi-bed community acupuncture clinic in Brighton and also practices at ICOM clinic.
His strong interest is in the psychology of Chinese medicine, in its potential to help patients live more freely and more wisely. It becomes increasingly evident that our state of mind is of paramount importance to our sense of well-being. He is passionate about the possibilities Chinese Medicine has to help in this sphere.
As well as being Principal, Tom teaches across the curriculum including on: Point Location, Chinese Medicine, Practical Clinic and Personal and Professional Development.
