Madina Palmos qualified as an Acupuncturist with a BSc Honours degree from ICOM. Prior to her journey into the world of Acupuncture, Madi worked as a Western medical doctor. She obtained a Degree in Medicine (USSR) and a PhD in Dermatology (Uzbekistan). She is now in her 3rd and final year of Chinese Herbal Medicine training and is also qualified as a Holistic Counsellor and Life Coach with the Holistic Healing College of London.

She likes to keep up to date and expand her knowledge by continuing her studies in Acupuncture and has done courses on facial acupuncture and fertility. Madi is devoted to continually expanding her knowledge about the human body while keeping a holistic and spiritual approach to human well being.

Madi works as a volunteer with cancer patients at the Macmillan Centre, Queen Victoria Hospital. She has also helped author and Acupuncture researcher Peter Van Kervel with the translation of his book “Acupuncture – Celestial Treatments of Terrestrial Diseases” into the Russian language.

Madi is passionate about holistic medicine and personal growth and will never stop exploring and finding out more about human health and well-being.

Rebecca Wheatley

acupuncturist & Lecturer

Rebecca is a licensed Acupuncturist and Aromatherapist. She completed her acupuncture training at the International College of Oriental Medicine (ICOM) and graduated with a First Class BSc (Hons) degree.

Rebecca initially trained in Chinese Medicine principles in 1995 as an Aromatherapist and this unique combination of Chinese Medicine, Acupoints and Essential oils have been an integral part of her life and practice since. She also trained as an Occupational Therapist and worked within the NHS for 6 years, in a community rehabilitation team.  

Over her years in practice she has worked holistically with a wide variety of pathologies, integrating her diverse skills into her treatments, including rehabilitative advice where appropriate and oil blends to support the healing process at home.

Rebecca has additionally trained in Scalp Acupuncture to further enhance treatments; and is also trained in Facial Acupuncture and Micro Needle Therapy (MNT).

Rebecca treats at the ICOM Clinic as well as running her own clinic in Ashurst Wood.  She is an Acupuncture teacher at ICOM as well as teaching and educating privately on the use of essential oils to manage health naturally.
