We will look at all aspects of a facial treatment, including equipment used, safe practice, marketing FEA and pricing. We will also cover the acupuncture points used in a treatment, plus follow-up procedures, such as jade rollers and gua sha techniques.
By the end of the workshop you should be confident in all aspects of FEA and be able to carry out the full protocol, adding a valuable new treatments to your practice. The participants, having completed the workshop, will be accredited as a Facial Enhancement practitioner and can use the letters FEA.
Who is this course for?
The Course is open to qualified acupuncturists only. Attendees must be registered with BAcC, ATCM, AACP or BMAS (Non-UK professional Registers are also acceptable subject to appropriate evidence of membership and insurance) and it may be open to students in their final year* (see below). - The workshop is not suitable for student acupuncturists unless they are students of a recognised acupuncture course, in their final year of study, having had hours of practice in clinic and with the understanding that they will not be allowed to use this technique until registered and appropriately insured .

Paul Adkins Lic.Ac., BA(Hons), FEA, 1stDan, MFHT, MBAA, MCAUK
Qualified with an honours degree from the CTA Leamington College of Five-Element Acupuncture, Paul Adkins is a Traditional Acupuncturist and the Founder of Facial Enhancement Cosmetic Acupuncture. He is the author of the ‘Pocket Guide to Facial Enhancement Acupuncture’ and ‘Facial Enhancement Acupuncture: Clinical Use and Application’.In 2004 Paul demonstrated his Facial Enhancement Acupuncture treatment for a beauty programme called Silicone Chicks, which aired on Sky’s Discovery Channel. He has trained acupuncturists in 40 countries to perform this natural, anti-ageing treatment. As a result, there are now practitioners in the UK, Europe and as far afield as Canada, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, the US, South Africa, Israel and the Caribbean. He is also a 1st dan martial artist with a love for eastern philosophy and wisdom. Paul is a Zita West affiliated fertility acupuncturist and, alongside his facial work, offers help and support to his clients throughout the South West of England. Many of Paul’s students have remained in contact over the years. He now offers the Acupuncture Warriors programme, working with practitioners to build and expand their practices.
