As an acupuncture student at ICOM you will feel guided and supported during your fascinating journey of self-development and discovery. Our course requires hard work and a passion for Chinese Medicine and its applications, but always in a friendly and nurturing environment.
East Grinstead is in the South East of England, in West Sussex, very close to the Surrey and East Sussex borders, with its beautiful landscapes and villages. The town is also well connected to London by rail and less than an hour from the lively sea town Brighton.
Some students move to East Grinstead during the duration of the course, whilst some prefer to commute from afar.
European Students are very welcome to email our office to obtain information about the area and generally about studying in the UK. You can find practical advice and information on visas, scholarships, money, accommodation, health, safety, travel and more on the British Council Website. You can also find details about life in the UK and places to visit on EducationUK. If your first language is not English, it is important that your standard of English (reading, writing, speaking and listening) is high enough for successful completion of the course as you will need to have both the language and academic skills to be able to cope with this level of study.
Mature students are very welcome. We are also very keen to hear from people who lack formal qualifications, but can demonstrate enthusiasm, determination, and experience which suggest that they have an equal opportunity to succeed on the programme.
We regret that we are currently unable to accept International Students on our Acupuncture Course. Licentiate Acupuncturists however are very welcome to visit us and attend one of our quality CPD events.
If you are considering a career in acupuncture, why not come and visit ICOM, have a feel of the college and the town. You can attend one of our Open Days to find out more about our courses, have an informal chat with our Students’ administrators and check our entry requirements, fees and payment options.
All applicants are treated equally in terms of academic suitability for a course.
