Iga Czarnawska-Iliev has a Masters Degree in Chinese Medicine with high honours from LSBU, but before that, she studied at an Ivy League College (USA), where she became a senior fellow in her last year, completing an independent health-related year-long research project and obtaining a summa cum laude degree.
Iga has practised QiGong, Taiji and martial arts for many years, and now teaches QiGong to patients in her acupuncture clinic and online students alike. She is fascinated by the Daoist idea of self-cultivation and the complex interplay between the physical and the spiritual / emotional parts of our being.
Teaching Research RS2 module at ICOM, Iga hopes to imbue students with excitement about the insights we gain by looking closely at the intersection of Eastern and Western medical paradigms.
