Deborah Woolf has been in clinical practice and teaching since 2000, gaining her PGCert a year after starting teaching. She has expanded her knowledge and understanding by regular postgraduate seminars of various world renowned teachers and acupuncturists, such as Elisabeth Rochat de la Vallée, Peter Firebrace, Bob Flaws, Joan Duveen, Peter van Kervel, Arnaud Versluys, Heiner Fruehauf, Jane Lyttleton, Dr Ed Neal and David White.
Deborah is particularly interested in Classical Chinese and the Classical Chinese Medicine texts that are the basis of her teaching. She translate Chinese medical texts and has undertaken concurrent sinological studies, completing an MA and PhD at University College London. She focuses on divination, calendars and time. She has taught courses blending Chinese language and Chinese Medicine all over the world.
She practices as an acupuncturist in a multi-disciplinary complementary medicine practice in Brighton.
Deborah teaches Chinese Medicine and is a Clinic Supervisor.
